jacorock If it applies to those like me who are instinctive and not musically educated, I find that this album is powerful, masterfully built by interweaving melodic and paranoid sounds with those that enhance each instrument, in short, the real progressive rock that seems be rooted, or maybe it does, in the most ferocious period , which, for me, is the best! Must Have! Favorite track: The Sacred Law of Retribution.

TheEliteExtremophile On paper, Tritop is not dissimilar from other retro-prog acts that put me to sleep. But there’s just a certain something about this record that clicks with me. Yes, the sounds are mostly unashamedly ripped right out of 1973, but the band sounds like they’re having a lot of fun doing it.

PKMetal It's dramatic and over the top just like all great prog rock should be, plus heavy enough for a metal fan like me. Perhaps best of all, it has all of my favorite types of keyboards: futuristic pew-pew laser keys, creepy haunted house keys, circus big-top keys, 70's hard rock keys, regular old piano, and probably more I'm not thinking of.

Not to say that every other element isn't also done to perfection, because they are. It's the whole package. Listen if you have any interest at all in prog!

paliojen_black Hands down, some of the most exciting progressive rock..ever! Not one wasted second on this album, performances are flawless. To my ear, the drumming and vocals are standouts, and the entire album is very well conceived. I can't wait to see where these guys take us in the future! Bravo, Tritop! Favorite track: Island of Servitude.

Here fell the comet that lies deep within the bowels of the Earth, rotting amongst the spoils of what we used to call mankind, whose extinction was caused by the crippling absence of salvation they felt when they watched the star falling right here, where the comet now lies deep within the core of humanity, cast right where it belongs. By the end of this catastrophe ember’s still burning, lashing out tiny bits of new hope. “We long for new grounds to breed our sacred spawns and go around, safe and sound, free to stand on our feet. A miracle creation we espouse”. A warning has been made, the arrows breach the ground. “Our warning made it through, our destiny came true”. Sea of fire, right where the comet lies, nothing will come out through that noise. “Our warning has been heard, our warning made it through and filled the” Void. There’s nothing but the void. There’s nothing for your arrows to break through.

Delighted insanity Confused in disdain Suspires and suspensions Throw off an optimal scale Deny me hope, I'm fastering in disgrace Blighted uniformity Eroded by a bountiful crop Those born in flames Will survive those born in a pond Deny my goal, I'm feasting in my own scorn I feel the presence of a ghost, lingering by The gracious accolades of life come with strain After the peak comes abyss, don't let go A certain fatality Leads beasts and humans alike To cluster in masses Seek shelter from the unknown There's nothing to hold onto in the fall Those who were destined to fail will prevail The gracious accolades of life come with strain After the peak comes abyss, don't let go.

Iron in clay. The anchor sways at the bottom of the bay. "Swaying boats are the worst". Tie our long ropes to the cleats by the shore. Each aching time a rope is brought at me, I long for hope and good intentions. The savant man that once belonged in me, cries in depth the loss of fervor. Another style of life awaiting us who bathe in servitude. "You're one with the poor". The wind is tight, flowing through my gills, coughing up the dust and sand of old glories. Stories will tell of lust that conquers love. By love, my sweet remains will crush into grains and find their way, as I found my lay, spread across the bay.

00.00 - In the Court of XXX: First voice: By solemn decree unanimously we hereby declare thee a sponsor of the greatest malignity. Your fault, you see, is taking for a medicine the denial, forcing down a pill of cyanide. By giving up your own life you recede, you see, your natural born right to be alive, my dear. As formal, dare I say heavy-hearted felt, atonement to the king all his subjects who dare to defy his majesty are forced to give up all and any pretense to a life among us free men. By means of poisoning of various degrees you will the felony from records erase for good, my dear. Second voice: The malicious intent of your actions will prove my theories behind our own inner strive for doom. Now that everybody knows what a man can do to harm himself in the same way that you showed us. To open up another way out of sorrows and blight, instead of achieving perpetual bright, is to open up another way out of the duties of men alone. You see, a broad example of your qualities will be forwarded away to rightful authorities as sourceful material and a case study, to improve the prevention of a repetition too. Third voice: Even after the toils of steady and decade long and more prosecuting of your fellow strays, falls from grace, the persecution goes on. We must still follow still and persevere, there at the gallows' power. Our war of times goes on. A country built on sacred laws. 02:30 - The Crawl, Part I: In the path leading out the spider's den, crawling up to the air, where the sun is set. I survived again, again. I survived again, oh the strain. I remember again, again. How I survived again. Clutched to the comet's tail. When it all fell down. 05:05 - Flashback: Looking for a guide in the sands or amidst the fires. Answers no one spoke of here, in the island... In the tower... Foreign now, here and about. Rapture violent and raw. Rapture. Free from the spider's web I find a way, back to the bay. Mistaken, but there I stray. Rapture. 07:40 - The Crawl, Part II: Deafening silence. Forces linger. Sweating, long crawling by night, racing for life. To those who cannot be unified stretch the divide. To those who cannot be identified just make them clearer. To those who cannot be simplified be their leader. Crawling forward to rise up there, to stand on others. Knocking at the doors of empty homes, I linger at the prospect but forlorn. 12:15 – On the Outside: Eyes scorched by the sun, to blind our host forever more. Your torment will not hold. Eyes scorched by the sun, to blind our host forever more. Night, come into my sight, the heat will pulverize rocks into dust and sand like old glories. Come into my sight! Eyes scorched by the sun, to blind our host forever more. 15:05 – First Contact: See now on your own what you long have sought. The horizons stretch upon the miracle you own, but the beauty lies beyond. Far beyond hate. Further than fate. You exist for your judgment. Memories made of hatred, heritage, your will. Laugh for me, at your judgment. Cry with me, for the island fell from your hands, suffered in vain. Soon your race will realize as well. Under the moon where we stood, where lies the dust of my brood, I understood, for now I see it too and rejoice in You. Mother, your gracious divine, you entrusted me with your task. And what am I, but a vessel of demise? You entrusted me with your prize. And what am I, but a vessel of demise? 20:45 – Farewell, with Love: Here ends the journey that sparked from a dream. Little is the door when you're breaking free and I'm closer now than I've ever been to the mind that will destroy all. Here dies the ember, drown under stardust. We wouldn't change it, but strove for more. Hear my cry, it comes from inside: THIS IS THE WAY TO DESTROY ALL
